Japanese Whisky Logo
JSLMA has established a logo mark for Japanese whisky to enhance the effectiveness of the "Standards for Labeling Japanese Whisky" established in February 2021. JSLMA hopes that by having member companies affix the logo mark to products that meet the voluntary standards, awareness of Japanese whisky will increase both domestically and internationally, and that it will become easier for customers to identify Japanese whisky.
The logo mark features "JW" in the center of a whisky barrel end, surrounded by "JAPANESE WHISKY" and "JSLMA". It has already been trademarked in Japan, and procedures for overseas registration are currently underway.

Alcohol symbol for low-alcohol beverages
In 2000, JSLMA established voluntary standards for alcoholic beverage labels to prevent low-alcohol alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of less than 10% (so-called canned chu-hi) from being confused with non-alcoholic beverages such as soft drinks and fruit juices.
