Addressing environmental issues

To fulfill their social responsibility, alcohol manufacturers always strive to uphold the 3Rs (Reduce: waste reduction, Reuse: reuse of used items, Recycle: effective use of recycled resources) and actively implement the following initiatives and cooperation:

1. Efforts and cooperation to reduce waste generated during the alcohol manufacturing process and to reduce CO2 emissions.
2. Efforts and cooperation to lighten alcohol containers and packaging, effectively utilize recycled resources, and reuse containers.
3. Support through organizations such as the Glass Bottle and Aluminum Can Recycling Association, including public relations activities and the holding of explanatory meetings.
4. JSLMA registered on October 24, 2007, to participate in the "My Challenge Declaration" program on the special website of "Team Minus 6%", where the Prime Minister serves as the team leader, demonstrating the association's efforts to reduce CO2 emissions.
5. To cooperate with the "3R Promotion Month" in October implemented by relevant ministries, the association promotes the 3R month through posters, cooperates with and participates in 3R promotion, and informs its member companies about the month.
